Welcome to the Sathya Sai Centre of Ottawa

Welcome to the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Ottawa-Carleton website. Sathya Sai Baba has recognized the Centre as His temple. With His blessings, the Centre coordinates spiritual, educational and volunteer activities aimed at practicing His teachings. Love All Serve All.

In establishing the sacred and beautiful Sai Centre, most tradespersons and business people from the construction community donated their material and service free or at considerably reduced cost.

Later in the summer, the interior of the building begins to take shape as everyone involved works long hours to ensure the building can be ready in time for Swami's 72nd birthday celebration. The pastel colours pink, yellow, and blue are used to bring the atmosphere of the main Sai Kulwant Prayer Hall in Puttaparthi, India.

Shortly before Swami‚s birthday celebration, the idols of Lord Ganesh, and Sri Shirdi Sai Baba arrived from India, and were installed by conducting ceremonies (Moorthi Sthapna) by priest and devotees. A picture of Lord Jesus Christ is also an important part of the altar. The main photograph of Swami is approximately 6 feet by 3 feet.

Pictures and information displayed at the other end of the prayer hall, highlight the purpose, main projects, and goals of the Sri Sathya Sai Organization around the world.
